Now with Said, he moved to Nice this year, around May I think? He has not spent much time at Deversé, I never saw him there, that's a bit strange, I met every single climber doing 9a at Deversé since 2007. But he was there few times and tried TTT, nothing else realy. But he does not go there with locals, I still have no idea who was belaying him. That's strange, we mix quite freely, I had probably dozens diferent belayers in my routes, you climb with guy having free time and project at same cliff. Normally, you would want to do all classics at your new home cliff, but it is not mandatory.
Three friends told me independently that he was completely hopeless in TTT moves. But that won't work, you must be comfortable doing TTT with one or two falls to have any chance to send it.
Even when you can do it with one fall, you can spend few weeks falling in swing.
So local guess was he has no chance. So he is gone for summer, comes back in September, waits for heavy rain, so there is nobody at (almost completely wet) cliff and announces the send. On the photo there is just him, not belayer and the rope does not seem to be clipped in the chain. Then he posts a video, but extremely edited with no more than two moves in row. We do know who belayer was and
none of guys around here saw him doing good tries.
So it goes like "bit strange, but he did Action Direct and Papichulo, but let's give him benefit of doubt". But then Hannes Huch came with almost exactly same story for Action Direct and there is similar story for Papichulo. Whole situation is strange and there are many open question. For TT, I would like to know who was the belayer and who saw some good tries (I am not even saying send, just some good tries)? This is not investigative journalism like for Huch, just some points from a TTT local (I am sitting 12km from the route at this very moment).
