Dirtbag

Scumbag jako określenie dla polityków? Chyba sporo procesów by było, gdyby ktoś tak nazwał polityka. Scumbag to raczej takie dno społeczne, margines. Ktoś bezużyteczny, często mieszkający na socjalu, gdzie jedyne jego zainteresowania to się upić lub zaćpać i przy okazji coś ukraść. Podobne określenie to "low life"-taki nasz polski "chwast"

Dirtbag -raczej tylko amerykański, w UK nigdy nie słyszałem. Natomiast bardzo adekwatny wydaje się być opis z urban dictionary:

1. A person who is committed to a given (usually extreme) lifestyle to the point of abandoning employment and other societal norms in order to pursue said lifestyle. Dirtbags can be distinguished from hippies by the fact that dirtbags have a specific reason for their living communaly and generally non-hygenically; dirtbags are seeking to spend all of their moments pursuing their lifestyle
The best examles of dirtbags and dirtbagging are the communities of climbers that can be found in any of the major climbing areas of North America--Squamish, BC; Yosemite, CA; Joshua Tree, CA; etc.


2: Piss-poor, unemployed rock climber who lives off scrounged food and sleeps, obviously, in the dirt. The pinnacle of climbing committment and idol of employed climbers.

n: Climber A: "That ass hole said he climbed 200 days last year - is he full of shit?"
Climber B: "Nah man, he's a dirt bag, fo sho."
A: "Fuck."

Climber B: "Nah, I'm just gonna dirtbag it in The Valley {Yosemite} all summer and regroup next fall."
